Abstract:

In recent years, the authors have been developing the Virtual-Physical Space (ViPS) reference architecture that can be adapted to various CPSS-like applications. ViPS supports the virtualization of physical "things" by considering factors such as events, time, space, and location. This article examines the ViPS AmbiNet component responsible for modeling the spatial aspects of "things" implemented in accordance with the Context-Aware Ambient Calculus (CCA) formalism, the approximate modeling language, and supporting tools.

Key words:
Ambient Intelligence (AmI)
