The paper deals with an overview of technologies for working with the relational databases on the Net Framework, and conducting a study for assessing the execution time of the data inserting, selecting, updating and deleting operations in a database by the ADO.NET, Dapper and Entity Framework technologies for working with the relational databases. An analysis was made based on the assessment results obtained.
