Abstract:
The manuscript presents a comparative analysis of the most popular software environments for computer modeling and simulation of electrical and electronic circuits. The software products LTspice, PySpice and Matlab/Simulink are reviewed. The strengths and weaknesses of each of these products are indicated, as well as the main libraries, the types of analysis, the mathematical numerical methods used to solve the models, and also the visualization tools. In this sense, the systematization and summary made are useful with a view to choosing suitable software tools both for research in the field of electronics and electrical engineering, and for conducting training in these fields of technology.
